Jesus Threatens with Hell!

Reading Luke chapters 13 thru 16; are there 10 Essential Elements to The Real New Testament Message, or not? From chapter 13 and verses 1 thru 9, we see the strong connection that exists between #2, sin, #6, repentance, and #3, judgment. The parable of verses 6 thru 9 is all about Israel’s #2, sin of #6, non-repentance, or no ‘fruit,’ and how that she was going to be #3, severely judged. This is also what the parable of 14:15 thru 24 is about, explaining how that they will miss #10, the Kingdom. Verses 18 thru 21 of chapter 13 speak of the sovereign and secret growth that God was going cause #10, His Kingdom to experience on earth throughout human history. God will prevail! Verse 23 goes to #8, the New Birth, and of how many would be saved. Jesus answers by speaking of #2, sinners and their #3, judgment, which would preclude them from #10, the Kingdom, in verses 27 thru 29. Again, Jesus intimates of #5, the Gospel, with mention of His death in verse 33, while denouncing Israel for her #2, sin, which was going to result in her #3, judgment, all in verses 34 and 35.

Chapter 14 gives us #9, New Life instruction. Verses 7 thru 11 speak of believers humbling themselves. Verses 12 thru 14 go to giving unto the needy, but see the connection made in verse 14 between the establishment of #10, the Kingdom, expressed by the resurrection of those possessing #1, righteousness! And, whereas verses 15 thru 24 is about #10, the Kingdom, the parable is obviously linked to mention of the resurrection in verse 14 by one who was listening to Jesus and made that connection himself in verse 15. The chapter concludes, in verses 25 thru 35, with the #9, New Life teaching about the personal cost of being a follower of Jesus Christ. He only wants… everything!

With chapter 15, we go to one principal point, and it is certainly all about #6, repentance, resulting in #8, the New Birth and salvation! See verses 7, 10, and 17 thru 21. Besides #6, repentance, chapter 15 speaks of repentance as being from #2, sin, in verses 7, 18 and 21. It is also what is being implied in verse 28, and is a representation of #6, un-repentant Israel. And, if nothing else, chapter 15 is also about how that #6, repentance leads one to #8, the New Birth of God’s salvation, as verses 24 and 32 point out, and verses 7 and 10 very strongly imply. Do we have and know the right message? Yes, I believe that we do!

Chapter 16 is rich. Verses 1 thru 13 serve as a #9, New Life teaching to believers about their wealth and possessions. Verses 19 thru 31 strongly link the certainty of #3, severe judgment upon those who do not #6, repent. And that judgment is the place of fiery torment and agony called hell! It’s what the Book is all about!

Some Christians say there is no hell. They say that Gehenna was just a rubbish dump where lepers lived. They argue that Hell is not literal.

Isaiah 66:24 begs to differ but agrees with Revelation 20 from verse 11.

Anyone teaching differently, will eventually be proven wrong into eternity.

It is so worrying how many Christians seem to make their own decisions on what is literal in the Bible and what is not! I believe that the fact it is described in the Bible and also in the Book of Enoch.. That there is in fact a Hell. Christians should really learn to study the Bible and Gods word themselves and on rely on others to teach them. Having a personal relationship with Jesus is the Only way you will truly know you are on the right path!
