What Does the Bible Really Say?

It is both shocking and appalling the degree of Bible ignorance that exists in modern Western Civilization today… especially among Christian clergy. And, as if the ignorance were not enough; among much of so-called Christendom, there is an out-and-out denial of the Bible as being the very Word of God. Why is that? They have absolutely no excuse whatsoever!

The Bible is the Word of God, and the internal evidence, and external confirmation of that evidence, conclusively prove to any intellectually honest mind, that the Bible is clearly superhuman and supernatural, and is, therefore, what it claims to be, of Divine origin; the Word of the One, True and Everliving God! What is that evidence?

The Bible, when properly re-ordered into a strict chronological reading plan shows that there is a clear pattern and outline, and that all of it was foretold by God in advance of any of it happening. God said it was to prove His existence, and that He was in total control of His plainly stated and revealed plan, just as we read in Isaiah chapters 41 thru 46. See 41:23, 43:12, 44:25+26 and especially 45:21. What is this plan? It is a plan of 7 points; each a Promise and/or Prophecy. The entire Old Testament is the record of the Divinely given, and sovereign fulfilling of 6 of the 7 Promises and Prophecies which comprise the outline of all the Bible! Order does NOT arise out of disorder and chaos. It must be caused and ordered by an intelligence. That Intelligence was God!

The God of the Bible revealed to the Patriarchs, 13 times, the first 4 points of the 7-point outline of His Plan. He told Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, when He came to them, that He would give them 1.) Many descendants, that they would 2.) Be enslaved, but delivered, that He would bring them into and give to them 3.) a Promised Land, and that through His people, in that land, He would bring forth 4.) His Messiah. But, after He had fulfilled the first; that of many descendants, and was in the very midst of completely delivering them from out of their slavery in Egypt, He gave to Moses, 3 more Promises and Prophecies as further points to His Plan and Bible outline. These last 3 would take Israel through 1,000 more years of Old Testament recorded history. They were that 5.) Israel would be unfaithful to God, and break His Covenant with them, that 6.) He would remove them from out of their Promised Land, and 7.) That He would do something never seen before in all of human history… He would bring them back into, and restore unto them His Promised Land. Now, follow and get this very carefully…

We have just read, and I have blogged with my last post, reading number 265, the fulfillment and completion of the 5th of the Promises and Prophecies. The 7 points of the Bible outline are fulfilled thru 12 very distinct Time Periods. We have also just completed the 8th of those. With the next post, I will lay out the first 5 points to God’s outline, all are Promises and/or Prophecies, and the 8 time periods thru which they have flowed, so far, thru the Old Testament of our Bible. That this plain order so clearly exists, within the chronological reconstruction of the Bible, is proof, on its very face, that the Book is superhuman, supernatural, and could only come from God, just as He told us it does. It is so that you might BELIEVE! It’s what the Book is all about!
